PETITION FOR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS

We, the undersigned, strongly affirm our support for measures to establish meaningful and enforceable rights for crime victims in the U. S. Constitution. We stand for a system of justice for all, even the victim, who today has no rights established in the U.S. Constitution. It is proper that the rights of the accused be protected by the U.S. Constitution, but it is wrong to deny to crime victims the same degree of protections for their rights. Only through a constitutional amendment will the rights of crime victims be truly equal. The proposed constitutional amendment is the right solution to protect the rights of every person in the country. We call on Congress to pass it and send it to the States for ratification.
